I designed this poster for a lady poet from my hometown. Ghalya Biala is an Amazigh poet, she was born in 1927 in my hometown Jadu. While Ghalya is a prolific private poet, very few of her poems have published.
Many of her poems deal with themes of sadness, immortality, daily life, motherland and hometown.
She’s deeply affected by her favorite oldest son who has left her and the motherland for more than 30 years ago, and deeply affected by the early death of her husband……
In this quote poem on the poster, she describes how the old village of her ancestors is deserted and left to owls and the symphony of the winds….

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
The picture a bit large. Thanks for that
